This includes descriptions and eligibility criteria for ESDC’s Global Talent Stream, IRCC’s 2-week Work Permit processing and short duration Work Permit exemptions for high skilled workers and researchers, as well as IRCC’s Dedicated Service Channel referral service.

The GSS promotes the attraction of top global talent to Canada and supports the Government of Canada’s Innovation Agenda.Launched on June 12, 2017, GSS is designed to help companies recruit the highly specialized and skilled global talent they need to succeed by providing enhanced immigration system navigation, as well as faster and more predictable application processing.
