Learn more about Clinical Trials Ontario -- who they are, what they do and how they are making clinical trials easier to do in Ontario. 

Clinical Trials Ontario is an independent not-for-profit organization established by the Government of Ontario.  Their mandate is to provide a streamlined approach to conducting multi-centre clinical trials in Ontario, while maintaining the highest ethical standards for participant protection.

Susan Marlin is the President & CEO of Clinical Trials Ontario.  Prior to coming to Clinical Trials Ontario, Susan worked in research administration at Queen's University supporting research initiatives by pursuing funding and partnership opportunities and by leading university-wide research support and compliance programs.  Susan also worked with the National Cancer Institute of Canada Clinical Trials Group for many years, initially coordinating cancer clinical trials and later leading the development and implementation of the Ethics and Regulatory office.
