Premier Dalton McGuinty has shuffled five Deputy Minister (DM) positions effective June 7, 2010. David Lindsay, a former DM at Northern Development, Mines & Forestry (MNDMF) replaces Fareed Amin at the Ministry of Energy & Infrastructure. Replacing Lindsay at MNDMF is David O’Toole who is currently the ADM for Economic, Environment, Justice and Intergovernal Policy in Cabinet Office. Judith Wright has now been named DM at Health Promotion and was also named to the Executive Development committee and the Public Service Commission of Ontario. Replacing Judith Wright at Children & Youth Services is George Zegarac, a respected bureaucrat who was DM at Agriculture, Food & Rural Affairs. Bill Forward, named DM at Municipal Affairs & Housing, formerly served as ADM of international trade and marketing at the Ministry of Economic Development & Trade.
