The MEDEC general bylaws were changed at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on June 15 in Montreal. Changes include two new categories of membership and an extended Board. The newly created categories are an Emerging Medical Technology (EMT) membership and an Affiliate membership. The bylaws were also amended to extend the numbers of persons who can sit on the MEDEC Board. The minimum number of persons who can sit on the MEDEC Board of Directors is now 14 (moved from 12) and the maximum number of persons is 18 (moved from 16).
