The MEDEC / ITAC Health collaboration focuses initially on ensuring health information and medical technology companies are aware of Health Canada’s announcement regarding regulations for patient management software; helping these companies understand the medical device licensing process; and representing the concerns of industry to Health Canada. One of the first projects of the collaboration is to review and comment on a Patient Management Software Licensing FAQ, a living document developed with the collaboration of MEDEC, Health Canada, Industry Registrars and ITAC Health.
